Emotional Probs

Kelly,
I’m Danny Valdez. I live in a trailer-park in Gilbert, Arizona. A 26 year-old TV transcriptionist and writer of short stories and poetry. I got my first book deal with Sun Dog Press last year.
The book is set to come out in a couple of months. 

Job to job, woman to woman, scheme to scam, car wreck to car wreck, all the shit that goes with being young, poor, and obsessed with Rock’n’Roll/Punk Rock.
My parents were bikers and I’ve grown up fast.
Married with a baby at 19.
Then divorced
and out there
playing in bands, making music zines.
Then someone gave me a typewriter and these stories just started to pour out of me.Besides my publisher and a few others in his circle of older authors and publishers, not many people have read this stuff yet.
But these people, my publishers, are in their 70’s
and have seen a lot.
They really believe in me for some reason.
Bukowski’s publisher, John Martin of Black Sparrow Press
just sent over word that he’ll give a blurb for my book. 
It’s all very exciting.
But like I said, no young people have really read my stuff.
I work exclusively on a typewriter 
then transcribe it onto my computer afterwards.
(having one too many computers crash on me)
So I was wondering if you had a mailing address
I could send some of my typed stuff to?

I’m not looking for ‘anything’ 
I just want you to be aware of my presence.
